نقد ترجمه انگلیسی داستانهای شهر جنگی نوشته اسپراشمن بر اساس رویکرد ردهشناسی متنی رایس |

هدف نوشتار حاضر نقد ترجمه انگلیسی مجموعه داستانهای شهر جنگی بر اساس چارچوب نظری ردهشناسی متنی رایس (2000) میباشد. برای انجام ارزیابی مورد نظر ابتدا با استفاده از روش توصیفی-تحلیلی نمونههای مرتبط بر مبنای مولفههای مدل مذکور بازشناسی شده و سپس مزایا و معایب ترجمه مشخص گردید و ابعاد متنشناختی، زبانی، و فرازبانی متون مبدا و مقصد مورد مقابله و مقایسه قرار گرفتند. یافتهها نشان داد که ترجمه داستانهای شهر جنگی، به مثابه متنی صورت محور عمدتاً الزامات ترجمهی معادل را از نظر رایس برآورده نموده است. علی رغم نابسندگیهایی جزئی در ترجمه عنصر مکان و بافت آنی در ترجمه مذکور، برگردان حاضر توانسته صحت اطلاعاتی متن مبداء را همگام با حفظ مولفههای زیباییشناختی و صوری حفظ نماید که همراستا با «روش بازشناسانه» رایس است. |

A Critique of the English Translation of Dāstān-hā-ye Shahr-e Jangi Based on Reiss's Text-Typological Model |

The present article aimed at scrutinizing the English translation of Dāstān-hā-ye Shahr-e Jangi (2009), published as A City under Siege (2011). The framework of criticism was the text typological model proposed by Reiss (2000). To this end, within the framework of a descriptive-comparative methodology, the relevant samples were identified and assessed based on the given model. Initially, the merits and demerits of the translation were pinpointed; then, the text-typological, linguistic, and extralinguistic dimensions of the source and target texts were compared. The findings revealed that A City under Siege, as a form-focused text, largely meets Reiss’ requirements for equivalence. Except for minor inadequacies in translating place factor and immediate context, this suggestion is valid inasmuch as the translation has also guaranteed the accuracy of information presented in the ST while retaining the relevant formal and aesthetic elements, which is in compliance with her ‘identifying’ method. |
