When inbreeding increased in population, which reduced the heterozygosity and consequently increase homozygosity, caused appearance of harmful recessive alleles and reduce response to selection in the economic traits. The goal of this research are to estimate effect of inbreeding on genetic parameters of economic traits (body weight in different age). In this research used data records of 11721 Moghani sheep collected 1987 to 2011 by Moghani breeding Station (Ardebil province, Iran) during 1987 to 2011. Traits were analysed fitting three univitiate models (with out and with inbreeding as a classified and covariate) in wombat software. Inbreeding depression was estimated as the regression of performance on the individual inbreeding coefficients via fitting an animal model. The inbreeding coefficient estimated by CFC program and genetic parameter was estimate using WOMBAT software. Result of analysis of variance of factors effecting traits weight in moghanians sheep show that random effects of animal and the effects of year-seson on all studied treit, sex effect on birth weight, three months, six months, nine months, yearling, tow year, three years, four years, five years and six years.The mean inbreeding for all animals and inbreed animal were 0.4% and 1.67% respectively. Totally, 26.1 % of all the animals were inbred. The inbreeding depression for body weight traits at birth, 3, 6, 9, 12, 24, 36, 48 and 60-months of age was respectively, -1.06, 0.113, 0.126, -0.089, 0.817, -0.054, -0.687, 2.717 and -0.139 kg, per 1% increase in individual coefficient. The direct heritability for birth weight, 3, 6, 9, 12, 24, 36, 48 and 60-months weights was 0.17, 0.14, 0.10, 0.27, 0.16, 0.21, 0.20, 0.02 and 0.23 respectively. The results showed that with proper genetic management of herds, increased use of outbreeding with out of herd rams and the mating with superior males in a controlled manner, can be reduced harmful of inbreeding Also result showed that incorporation of inbreeding in genetic parameters estimation model have low to moderate |
