چکیده انگلیسی مقاله Negative work–family spillover is one of the most important and disturbingfactors for the staff in health organizations. With focus to the moderating role of political skills, the main purpose of this research was to study the role of work–family spillover in psychosomatic complaints due to the moderating role of political skills. This research used correlational methodology with a sample of two hundred forty five staff from an industrial company in Esfahan, Iran. The research instruments included work–family spillover questionnaire, political skillsscale, and psychosomatic complaint questionnaire. Data was analyzed using the Pearson correlation coefficient and hierarchical regression analysis. The results showed a negative and significant relationship between work–family spillover and political skills. In addition, a positive and significant relationship between work–family spillover and psychosomatic complaints was also found. The results of hierarchical regression analysis showed that in those with low political skills, a significant relationship exists between spillover into the children and housework areas and psychosomatic complaints, while no such relationship is found in those with high political skills.
