عنوان فارسی بررسی انگیزه‏ها و دیدگاه‏های دانشجویان دانشکده دندانپزشکی مشهد پیرامون انتخاب رشته تحصیلی خویش در سال ۱۳۸۹
چکیده فارسی مقاله مقدمه:نتایج پژوهش‏هائی که در مورد انگیزه‏های دانشجویان دندانپزشکی از انتخاب رشته تحصیلی خویش انجام گرفته، در برنامه ریزی‏های اجتماعی، آموزشی، تخصصی، درمانی، اقتصادی مرتبط با این حرفه مورد استفاده قرار گرفته است. هدف از این مطالعه بررسی دیدگاه‏ها و انگیزه‌های دانشجویان سال‏های اول و آخر دانشکده دندانپزشکی مشهد از انتخاب دندانپزشکی به عنوان رشته تحصیلی بود. مواد و روش‏ها: 75 نفر از دانشجویان سال‌های اول (40 نفر) و ششم (35 نفر) دانشکده دندانپزشکی مشهد که در سال تحصیلی 89-1388 تحصیل می‏کردند در این مطالعه مقطعی شرکت داشتند. پرسشنامه‌ای شامل دو قسمت اطلاعات شخصی دانشجویان و دلایل و انگیزه‌های ورود به رشته دندانپزشکی در اختیار شرکت کنندگان گذاشته شد و پس از جمع آوری اطلاعات جهت تحلیل آماری از تست‌های Chi-Square و Mann-Whitney استفاده شد (05/α=). یافته‏ها: انگیزه‌های نمونه‏های مورد مطالعه در انتخاب رشته دندانپزشکی به ترتیب عبارت بودند از: درآمد مالی مناسب، موقعیت اجتماعی، امنیت شغلی و زمان کاری مناسب. توجه نمونه‏های مونث به فاکتور کمتر بودن خطرات تهدیدکننده حیات بیماران در دندانپزشکی، تفاوت معنی‏داری با نمونه‏های مذکر داشت (001/0(P=. تغییر دیدگاه دانشجویان سال ششم نسبت به رشته دندانپزشکی در مقایسه با دانشجویان سال اول بیشتر بود (031/0(P= که این تغییر دیدگاه در دانشجویان سال ششم بیشتر جنبه منفی داشت. نتیجه گیری: فاکتورهای اقتصادی و عوامل وابسته به شغل بیشترین تاثیر را در انتخاب رشته دندانپزشکی در دانشجویان مورد مطالعه در این تحقیق داشته‌اند. مسلم است که این نوع گرایش به رشته دندانپزشکی می‌تواند در آینده تاثیرات منفی بر آینده شغلی فارغ التحصیلان دندانپزشکی داشته باشد.

عنوان انگلیسی Evaluation of Mashhad Dental School Students’ Motives and Viewpoints on Their Career Choices in 2010
چکیده انگلیسی مقاله Introduction: The results of studies on the dental students' perceived motivation toward their career choice have been used in planning social, educational, professional, medical, and economic issues associated with this career. The purpose of this study was to investigate the reasons and motivations of first and final grade dental students towards their career choices. Materials and Methods: Seventy five dental students at first (40 students) and sixth grades (35 students) from Mashhad dental school participated in this cross sectional study. A self administered questionnaire consisting of students' personal information and their motivations for choosing dentistry were distributed among the students. Statistical examination was done using SPSS software (Version 11.5). Chi-square and Mann-Whitney tests were used for performing statistical analysis (α=0.05). Results: The results show that the most frequent reasons for choosing dentistry were economic factors, social status and job security, and proper and flexible working time. Females, attention due to the lower risk for life-threatening complications in dental practice were significantly higher than males (P= 0.001). Shifting perspectives of sixth year dental students toward dentistry compared to first-year students were more frequent (P=0.031). This change in perspective in the sixth-year students had a more negative trend. Conclusion: Economical factors and professional factors had the most influence on selecting dentistry by students. It is definite that these kinds of factors in dentistry could have negative effects on dental graduates, future career.
