Nurses are experts and effective human forces in health care system, who are mostly female. Studying their problems can help us solve them and results in an increase in quality of care and patients' satisfaction rates. Methods: This research was a cross-sectional survey. The subjects included 224 working female expert nurses selected through random sampling. Their viewpoints were collected by a questionnaire. The data were analyzed by descriptive and analytic statistics through SPSS software. Results: Four agreed hypotheses showed that the reason of low social respect for nurses and their conflicts with patients are due to the wrong social beliefs on nurses' duties, and their shift-working programs causing social and family problems in their lives. The hypothesis of nurses' delayed marriage due to their shift-working program was rejected. Conclusion : Because of the vast dimensions of the suggested hypotheses in this study, further investigation is necessary. |
