عنوان فارسی نگاهی به توصیف و نمود آن در چند داستان کوتاه معاصر فارسی
چکیده فارسی مقاله همواره در آثار ادبی، توصیف و روایت به‌هم آمیخته‌اند و این آمیختگی، گاه شکلی غیر قابل تمایز می‌یابد. توصیف و روایت، به عنوان دو جنبه‌ی ساختاری در هر داستان در تعامل دائم قرار دارند و به آن، معنا و مفهوم می‌بخشند. در کنار پیشرفت‌های شگرف در زمینه‌ی روایت‌شناسی در سال‌های اخیر، نظریه‌های متعددی نیز به ارائه‌ی الگوهایی از کارکردهای مختلف توصیف در آثار متفاوت پرداخته و به هر گونه از انواع و سبک‌های ادبی، شکل خاصی از توصیف را اختصاص داده‌اند. در این میان، به زعم بسیاری از نظریه‌پردازان ادبی، توصیف در آثار رئالیستی و ناتورالیستی از جایگاه ویژه‌ای برخوردار است و همچنین، شکل دقیق‌تر و نزدیک به واقع‌تری به خود می‌گیرد. با توجه به اهمیت ترجمه‌ها، تأثیرها، تواردها و همچنین رویدادهای اجتماعیِ پاره‌ای از دوره‌های تاریخی، ادبیات فارسی نیز از سبک رئالیستی بی‌بهره نمانده است. جستار پیش رو، با هدف تعمیم نظریه-های مربوط به توصیف بر داستان‌های رئالیستی و ناتورالیستیِ معاصر فارسی، سعی دارد جایگاه توصیف، انواع و کارکردهای برجسته‌ی آن را در چندین داستان کوتاه بررسی نماید.

عنوان انگلیسی An overview of description and its emergence in certain contemporary Persian short stories
چکیده انگلیسی مقاله In literary works, almost always, narratives and descriptions conflate and this conflation is often inseparable. Descriptions and narratives, as two structural aspects of every story, are inconstant interaction and thus bring about meaning to the story. In recent years, along with tremendous advances in the field of narratology, various theories have also offered models on different functions of description in different literary works. They have furthermore specified a unique form of description for almost every individual work. To this end, according to certain literary theorists, description plays a great role in Naturalist and Realist literary works; moreover, it gives a closer and more concise form to the reality. Considering the importance of translations, influences, coincidences, and certain social events in certain historical eras, Persian literature, too, has made use of the Realistic style. Having the intent to generalize the related theories of descriptions on Realistic and Naturalistic stories of contemporary Persian literature, the present study aims at investigating the place, types and functions of description in some of Persian short stories.
