عنوان فارسی بررسی مقایسه ای تأثیر چند نوع خمیر دندان بر میزان سایش مینای دندان
چکیده فارسی مقاله سابقه و هدف: مسواک زدن همراه با خمیردندان رایج‌ترین و مهم ترین روش حفظ بهداشت دهان و دندان به شمار می رود. با این وجود استفاده از این محصولات مضرات و عوارضی از جمله سایش بافت های دندانی نیز به دنبال دارد. با توجه به دامنه وسیع خمیردندان های در دسترس و به ویژه کمبود مطالعات در مورد آن ها در کشور ما مطالعه حاضر با هدف بررسی و مقایسه دو نوع خمیردندان سفید کننده و ضدحساسیت داخلی و دو نوع خمیردندان مشابه خارجی طراحی گردید. مواد و روشها: در این مطالعه تجربی آزمایشگاهی نمونه های مینایی آماده سازی شده و در آکریل مدفون شدند. پروفایل سطحی اولیه نمونه ها با دستگاه پروفیلومتر اندازه گیری شد و سپس نمونه ها در دستگاه سایش V8cross brushing قرار گرفته و با استفاده از حرکت جلو و عقب مسواکهایی که درون دستگاه و در مجاورت محلول خمیردندان بودند،تحت سایش قرار گرفتند. بعد از شستن و خشک کردن نمونه ها، این بار پروفایل سطحی ثانویه آنها با دستگاه پروفیلومتر اندازه گیری شد. اختلاف اعداد بدست آمده قبل و بعد از سایش نشان دهنده میزان سایش خمیر دندانها بر حسب واحد میکرون بود. در پایان نتایج با کمک نرم افزار SPSS توسط آزمون One-way ANOVA و Repeated Measure ANOVA مورد تجزیه و تحلیل آماری قرار گرفت. یافته‌ها: میزان سایش 4 خمیردندان مورد آزمایش اختلاف معنی داری با یکدیگر نشان دادند (p=0.039). با این وجود بررسی دو به دو این گروه ها نشان داد تفاوت معنی داری بین خمیردندان سفید کننده پونه با Crest 3D White وضدحساسیت پونه با Sensodyne وجود ندارد (P>0.05). تنها اختلاف معنی دار میان دو خمیردندان ایرانی وجود داشت (P=0.005). نتیجه‌گیری: با توجه به یافته های مطالعه حاضر تفاوت قابل توجهی میان میزان سایندگی خمیردندان های ایرانی با خارجی وجود ندارد. با این وجود انجام مطالعات مشابه در زمینه اثرات خمیردندان ها و به ویژه مطالعات نزدیک به شرایط کلینیکی و همچنین با استفاده از وسایل اندازه گیری دیگر در کشور ما ضروری به نظر می رسد.

عنوان انگلیسی Comparative evaluation of tooth enamel abrasion induced by different toothpastes
چکیده انگلیسی مقاله Background & Aim: Tooth brushing along with a toothpaste is the most frequent and important method in managing a healthy oral hygiene. However, using such products also has its side-effects and shortcomings. Considering the large range of toothpastes available and the insufficiency of proper researches in this area in Iran, this study was designed to evaluate the abrasiveness of a toothpaste for sensitive teeth and a whitening one with two similar Iranian brands. Materials & Methods: This was an invitro experimental study. Four groups of enamel samples consisting of each 6 specimens were prepared and embedded in acrylic blocks. The initial surface profile for each specimen was calculated using a profilometer. The samples undertook the wear phase in a V8 Cross Brushing machine using toothbrushes and a toothpaste solution. The samples were then dried and the surface profile was again calculated. The variation of the first and second profilometer calculations demonstrate the amount of wear for each specimen. Data was analyzed using the SPSS program by means of One way ANOVA and Repeated Measure ANOVA tests. Results: The amount of wear recorded for the 4 experimental groups was significantly different (p=0.039). However, the two by two comparision tests showed that the Iranian brands did not appear to have a significant difference with their foreign counterparts (p>0.05). The only difference was apperant between the two Iranian brand groups. Conclusion: According to the present study, it seems that there is no significant difference in the abrasive properties of the Iranian and foreign made toothpastes. However, similar researches considering different effects of toothpastes and especially in more clinical conditions and by utilizing different measurement methods appears to be necessary in Iran.
