تبیین تجارب دستیاران دندان‌پزشکی از واحد درسی علوم وابسته: یک مطالعه کیفی |

زمینه و هدف: اگرچه آموزش دوره دستیاری در ایران رشد و روند مثبتی داشته است، اما با چالش‌هایی مواجه می‌باشد که وجود این چالش‌ها اهمیت توجه به الزامات ارزیابی را بیشتر می‌کند. هدف از انجام مطالعه حاضر، شناسایی مشکلات موجود و ارایه راه‌حل‌هایی جهت برگزاری درس علوم وابسته بود. روش کار: این پژوهش کیفی با تمرکز بر روش تحلیل محتوا در دانشکده دندان‌پزشکی دانشگاه علوم پزشکی مشهد و در سال 93-1392 انجام شد. شرکت کنندگان مطالعه را دانشجویان دوره تخصصی دندان‌پزشکی تشکیل دادند که بر اساس نمونه‌گیری هدفمند انتخاب شدند. داده‌ها با کمک مشاهده و مصاحبه جمع‌آوری و سپس کدگذاری گردید و در مقوله‌های از پیش تعیین شده‌ای قرار گرفت. یافته‌ها: از یافته‌های به دست آمده چندین مضمون استخراج گردید که می‌تواند تجربه یاددهی و یادگیری از درس علوم وابسته دستیاران دندان‌پزشکی را ترسیم کند. این مضامین شامل «ماهیت یادگیری بالینی بین رشته‌ای، آموزش و تبادل نظر بین بخشی، بحث گروهی و آشنایی با شیوه‌های نوین درمانی، متعلق به گروه دندان‌پزشکان بودن، روحیه کار گروهی، نگرانی و اضطراب ناشی از برنامه، ارتباط مناسب بین یاد گیرنده و یاد دهنده، متفاوت بودن بسترها و منابع یادگیری بین رشته‌ای، تبدیل توانایی‌های بالقوه به بالفعل، جنبه‌های جذاب تجربه بالینی در کنار معلومات تئوری، تضاد و تشابهات بین کار عملی و یادگیری و وابستگی» بود. نتیجه‌گیری: اگرچه طول مدت آموزش دستیاری به تفکیک هر رشته تخصصی دندان‌پزشکی کافی به نظر می‌رسد، اما ایجاد ارتباطات بیشتر بین رشته‌های مختلف تخصصی دندان‌پزشکی از جنبه تئوری و عملی، باعث کارامدتر بودن دانش‌آموختگان حرفه‌ای تخصص دندان‌پزشکی می‌شود. |

Evaluation of Dental Residents’ Experiences on Related Sciences Course: A Qualitative Study |

Background & Objective: Although residency courses in Iran have witnessed positive developments, there are still some challenges, necessitating further evaluations of these courses. Therefore, the aim of the present study was to identify the current problems and offer solutions for the obstacles to the related sciences course. Methods: The current qualitative study was carried out in the School Dentistry of Mashhad University of Medical Sciences in 2013-2014, with a focus on content analysis. The participants consisted of postgraduate students selected using purposeful sampling technique. Data were collected through observation and interviews, and then, coded and assigned to pre-determined categories. Results: Data gave rise to the emergence of several concepts that can be used to depict the learning and teaching experiences of the related sciences course by postgraduate dental students. These concepts included the nature of interdisciplinary clinical learning, interdisciplinary education and exchange of ideas, group discussions and familiarity with new therapeutic modalities, being a member of the dental team, team work spirit, stress and anxiety resulting from the program, suitable tutor-student relationship, differences in interdisciplinary backgrounds and learning sources, conversions of potential abilities to full capabilities, interesting aspects of clinical experience along with theoretical knowledge, contradictions and similarities between practical activities and learning, and dependence. Conclusion: Although the duration of each residency course appears to be sufficient, it is of great importance to establish more communication between different dental specialties from theoretical and practical aspects to make the dental specialty course graduates more efficient. |
