بررسی میزان آگاهی و نیازهای آموزشی درنوجوانان مبتلا به تالاسمی ماژور و عضو فعال خانواده ی آنها در بندر عباس |

مقدمه و هدف: تالاسمی می‌تواند اثرات نامطلوب زیادی بر فرد، خانواده و جامعه تحمیل کند. بنابراین لازم است که نیاز والدین دارای فرزند مبتلا و افراد مبتلا به تالاسمی مشخص شود. این پژوهش با هدف تعیین میزان آگاهی و نیازهای آموزشی نوجوانان مبتلا به تالاسمی ماژور و یکی از اعضای فعال خانواده در بندرعباس انجام شد. روش ها: این پژوهش به صورت مقطعی از نوع توصیفی- تحلیلی بوده که در سال 1393 در شهر بندرعباس بر روی 70 نوجوان مبتلا به تالاسمی ماژور و یک نفر از اعضای فعال خانواده انجام شد. جمع آوری اطلاعات به صورت مصاحبه و با استفاده از پرسشنامه بود. ابزار پژوهش در این مطالعه شامل پرسشنامه‌های اطلاعات جمعیت شناختی و پرسشنامه محقق ساخته نیازسنجی بود که پرسشنامه محقق ساخته نیازسنجی دارای دو بخش بود. بخش اول شامل 22 سوال در سه حیطه شناخت ماهیت بیماری (16 سوال)، تغذیه ( 3سوال ) و پیشگیری (3 سوال ) و بخش دوم شامل 24 عبارت بود که میزان نیاز آموزشی فرد را مشخص می‌کرد. داده‌ها پس از جمع آوری با استفاده از نرم افزار SPSS نسخه 16 مورد تجزیه و تحلیل قرار گرفت. یافته ها: در رابطه با سنجش میزان آگاهی، بیشترین امتیاز به حیطه پیشگیری و کمترین امتیاز به حیطه ماهیت بیماری تعلق داشت بطوری که میزان پاسخ نمی‌دانم به حیطه ماهیت بیماری، 50 درصد در نوجوانان و بیش از 75 درصد در اعضای فعال بود. همچنین در رابطه با نیازسنجی، بیشترین امتیاز در هر دو گروه مربوط به کسب اطلاعات در رابطه با درمانهای جدید بود. نتیجه‌گیری: با توجه به نتایج بدست آمده، نوجوانان مبتلا به تالاسمی ماژور و عضو فعال خانواده ، نیاز به آموزش در تمامی حوزه های مورد بررسی بخصوص ماهیت بیماری، درمان و عوارض بیماری دارند. |

Investigating the Awareness and Educational Requirements of Adolescents with Thalassemia and Active Members of the Afflicted Families in Bandar Abbas, Iran |

Introduction: Thalassemia can impose adverse effects on the individual, family and community. It is therefore important to specify the needs of children with thalassemia and their parents. This study intended to assess the knowledge and educational needs of adolescents suffering from thalassemia major and active members of the family in Bandar Abbas. Methods: This cross-sectional descriptive-analytic study was conducted in 2014 in Bandar Abbas on 70 adolescents with thalassemia major and active members of the family. The Data were gathered by interview and using a questionnaire. The research instrument used in this study was demographic information questionnaire and need assessment self-made questionnaire for needs assessment. The need assessment self-made questionnaire was two parts. The first part consisted of 22 questions in three areas: the recognition of the nature of the disease (16 questions), nutrition (3 questions) and prevention (3 questions). And the second part contains 24 terms that specified the educational needs of the individual. The collected data was analyzed using SPSS software version 16. Results: Regarding the measurement of awareness, the highest score in the area of prevention and the lowest score belonged to the nature of the disease. The "I do not know" response to the 4 questions on the nature of the disease was 50% percent among the adolescents and more than 75% among the active members. Also, in relation to the need assessment, the highest score in both groups was related to "need more information about modern treatment methods". Conclusion: According to the results, adolescents with thalassemia major and active members of the family need to be trained in all areas studied, especially the nature of the disease, treatment and complications of the disease. |
