عنوان فارسی ارزیابی مهارت‌های ارتباطی دانشجویان دندان‌پزشکی : همبستگی خودارزیابی با دیدگاه ارزیاب و بیماران
چکیده فارسی مقاله چکیده مقدمه: برقراری ارتباط مؤثر، یکی از مهارت‌های کلیدی در حرفه دندان‌پزشکی است که نقش مهمی در تعامل با بیماران ایفا می‌کند. هدف از این مطالعه، بررسی خودارزیابی دانشجویان دندان‌پزشکی دانشگاه علوم پزشکی مشهد از مهارت‌های ارتباطی بالینی و مقایسه آن با دیدگاه بیماران و ارزیاب است. مواد و روش‌ها: این پژوهش به‌صورت توصیفی-مقطعی در دانشکده دندان‌پزشکی مشهد و با مشارکت دانشجویان سال آخر دندان‌پزشکی عمومی انجام شد. برای ارزیابی مهارت‌های ارتباطی از چک‌لیست راهنمای مشاهده‌ای کلگری-کمبریج (Calgary-Cambridge Observation Guide) استفاده شد که شامل 71 گویه در شش حیطه می باشد. هر گویه توسط دانشجو، بیمار و ارزیاب بر اساس مقیاس لیکرت سه‌گزینه‌ای (بله، تاحدودی، خیر) نمره‌گذاری شد. نمره کل بین 71 تا 213 متغیر بود و مهارت‌ها در سه سطح ضعیف (33/118–71)، متوسط (66/165–34/118) و خوب بیشتر از 67/165 دسته‌بندی شدند. تحلیل آماری با استفاده از آزمون Shapiro-Wilk، آنالیز واریانس یک‌طرفه (ANOVA) و آزمون همبستگی پیرسون انجام شد. (05/0α=) یافته‌ها: میانگین نمرات دانشجویان 3/19 ± 8/157، بیماران 2/29 ± 3/147 و ارزیاب 3/20 ± 7/122 اختلاف معناداری داشت. همبستگی معناداری بین خودارزیابی دانشجویان و نمرات بیماران (r = 0/59, P < 0/001) و ارزیاب(r = 0/41, P = 0/006)  مشاهده شد. همبستگی  معناداری بین نمرات دانشجویان و ارزیاب در حیطه‌های "مهارت های میان فردی پزشک و بیمار در آغاز جلسه" )57/0(r=، "مهارت جمع آوری اطلاعات" )40/0(r= و "گزینه های توضیحات و برنامه ریزی" (46/0r=) مشاهده شد. نتیجه‌گیری: دانشجویان مهارت‌های ارتباطی خود را در سطح متوسط ارزیابی کردند. بیماران دیدگاه مثبت‌تری نسبت به ارزیاب داشتند و دانشجویان نیز ارزیابی بالاتری نسبت به هر دو گروه ارائه دادند. این نتایج نشان می‌دهد تقویت آموزش مهارت‌های ارتباطی در دوره دندان‌پزشکی ضروری است.

عنوان انگلیسی Evaluating Communication Skills in Dental Students: Correlation Between Self-Assessment, Patient Perspectives, and Evaluator Rating
چکیده انگلیسی مقاله Background: Effective communication is a vital skill in the dental profession and plays an important role in patient interactions. This study aimed to assess the self-evaluation of clinical communication skills by dental students at Mashhad University of Medical Sciences and to compare it with the perspectives of patients and an evaluator. Methods and Materials: This descriptive cross-sectional study was conducted at Mashhad Dental School and included final-year undergraduate dental students. To evaluate communication skills, the Calgary-Cambridge Observation Guide checklist was used, consisting of 71 items across six domains. Each item was rated by the student, the patient, and the evaluator using a three-point Likert scale (Yes, To some extent, No). Total scores ranged from 71 to 213, and communication skills were categorized into three levels: poor (71–118.33), moderate (118.34–165.66), and good (>165.67). Statistical analyses were conducted using the Shapiro-Wilk test, one-way ANOVA, and Spearman correlation test. (α = 0.05) Results: The mean scores of students (157.8 ± 19.3), patients (147.3 ± 29.2), and the evaluator (122.7 ± 20.3) showed statistically significant differences. A significant correlation was found between the students’ self-assessments and patients’ evaluations (P < 0.001, r = 0.59) as well as between the students and the evaluator (P = 0.006, r = 0.41). The correlation between student and evaluator scores was observed in the domains of interpersonal skills at the beginning of the session (r = 0.57), information gathering (r = 0.40), and explanation and planning (r = 0.46). Conclusion: Students generally rated their communication skills at a moderate level. Patients had a more favorable view compared to the evaluator, and students rated themselves higher than both groups. These results highlight the need to senhance communication skills training in the undergraduate dental curriculum.
