One of the beautiful and attractive places is river sides, oceans, seas and lakes which are called as seashore tourism place. The rapid growth of seashore tourisms in recent decades caused that this section be known as the most rapid section of ecotourism places.     One of the development approaches of tourism industry in each place is presenting the necessaries facilities and services for visitor tourists as the tourism complexes mold. In another word the tourism complex should be located such that can meet all the necessaries of tourists as a desired one. So in this current search, have been tried to know and recognize the best places in creating the tourist complex of Kaftar Lake in Eghlid Township by exploiting from geographical information system.   2- Methodology  In present research, to define the best place to make the tourism complex, two kinds of descriptive informationâs layers were defind and also place information have been used. The necessary place information has been acquired via cartography organization maps, in the scale of 1:25000 and 1:50000 and also maps of geological organization and mineral explorations with the scale of 1:100000 and also by field studies.  In this manner, at first the existing maps were registered after referencing using the software of Arc view and Arc GIS. Then the required information layers in research which was consisted of 23 layers were scheduled by using the field studies.  To analyze the necessities, the layers were exchanged to restery format with cell size of 5 meter/square and they were used regarding their function. Uitimately, regarding their important and after getting ideas of decision makers, a spatial layer was named with special weight and were done overlapping operations on information layer and then the best places for tourism were suggested.   3- Discussion  To define the suitable places to make tourism complex, at first the effective factors on defining the optimal place suchas closing to lake, closing to connecting roads and ⦠were exchanged to information layers in GIS environment. Then by giving the weight to each of the layer, the suitable places to make the tourism complex close to khonjesht village and Kaftar Lake were renamed as A, B places. In later stage, to define the best place among these two places was used from SWOT method. The weak, strong points and the opportunities or facilities and threats of each places, were weighted in quantity manner by the numbers of 1 to 5. Ultinately by adding the points in these places, the best place to make tourism complex was defined. After all by exploiting from SWOT model, were edited the growth and development strategies in tourism industry of kaftar seashore and the best strategy was defined.    4- Conclusion  The results of exploiting geographical information system and model of SWOT, shows that the best place for making tourism complex in kaftar lake shore is B place which is located in southern part of this lake. The suggested final place with 103 hectare square is located in southern part of Kaftar Lake. This place is located in southern heights with suitable view and suitable slope regard to this lake and because of its existing in heights, addition to abilities to make facilities and establishes of welfare and tourism, it can be regarded as the place of sport developments like mountain climbing, sky and other activities related to mountain.  The best strategy for shore tourism development and growth is the exploiting strategy of facilities (WO). Among the reasons of choosing this strategy we can point to high ability of kaftar lake shore in the field of tourists attraction to grow and develop of area tourism industry, lack of scientifics studies about defining the positional abilities and kaftar lake shore, lower of weak points and the threats in the field of tourism, the existing of kaftar lake in spatial location among 4 country provinces and the ability to exploit the benefits and profits to attract the tourists in this areas.  Key Words: Eco Tourism, Geographic Information System, SWOT Technique, Kaftar Lake.   References  Akbari, Said &, ahmadreza bemanian.
