مسأله شب قدر، از مهم‌ترین آموزه‌های قرآنی است. این مقاله با روش توصیفی-تحلیلی، به بررسی گستره زمانی و محل نزول و مهبط ملائکه و روح در شب قدر از نگاه تفاسیر فریقین می‌پردازد. مسأله اصلی این پژوهش وجود یا عدم وجود شب قدر قبل از اسلام و استمرار یا عدم استمرار آن بعد از رحلت پیامبر6و تبیین محل نزول ملائکه و روح در شب قدر است. پاسخ به این مسأله علاوه بر مشخص نمودن گستره زمانی شب قدر، جایگاه حجج الهی را روشن می‌سازد. بر اساس یافته‌های پژوهش، شب قدر بر خلاف تصور برخی مفسران، منحصر به عصر پیامبر اسلام6نبوده، بلکه قبل از اسلام وجود داشته و تا روز قیامت در ماه رمضان هر سال استمرار دارد و ملائکه و روح بعد از پیامبر6در شب قدر بر انسان کامل یعنی امام معصوم که از جهت روحی به افق نبوت و سرچشمۀ وحی و الهام نزدیک هست، نازل می‌شوند.

The issue of night of Qadr is one of the most important Quranic teachings.
This article, with descriptive-analytical method, investigates the time span and the place of the descent of angels and spirits in the night of Qadr. The main issue of this research is the existence or non-existence of the Night of Qadr before Islam and its continuation or non-continuation after the death of the Prophet and the explanation of the place of descent of the angels and the soul in the Night of Qadr. The answer to this question, in addition to specifying the time span of the night of Qadr, clarifies the position of the divine proofs.
According to the findings of the research, night of Qadr is not exclusive to the era of the Prophet of Islam, but existed before Islam and continues until the Day of Judgment. And the descent of the angels and the spirit after the Prophet will be on the perfect human being, that is, the infallible imams, who are spiritually close to the horizon of prophecy and the source of revelation and inspiration.
