عنوان انگلیسی Comparing the Effect of Two Methods of Cryotherapy on the Pain of Vascular Needles Insertion in Hemodialysis Patient
چکیده انگلیسی مقاله Maximum within 1 minute after cannulation, the pain intensity of the patients was measured and recorded based on the visual comparison scale of pain measurement (VAS). Then the data was analyzed with SPSS version 22 software.
The results showed that the average pain intensity caused by vascular needle insertion in the cold therapy group at the needle insertion site was 3.1±86.81. On the other hand, the average pain intensity caused by vascular needle insertion in the cold therapy group was 4.2±65.05 in Hugo point. The results also showed that there was no significant difference in the average pain intensity between the two cold therapy groups at the needle insertion site and Hugo point (p-value < 0.05). Although the average pain intensity at the needle insertion site was lower in the cold therapy group, this difference was not significant.
The results of this study showed that there is no significant difference in the average pain intensity between the two cold therapy groups at the needle insertion site and the Hugo point. Although the average pain intensity at the needle insertion site was lower in the cold therapy group, this difference was not significant. Therefore, it is suggested that nurses use both methods according to the existing conditions and according to their own preferences in order to reduce the pain of dialysis needle insertion and improve the satisfaction of patients.
