Webometric study of Iran virtual universities in 1392 |

This study deals with the visibility, influence rate of diffrent links in virtual universities websites. The current community research is consisted of websites of 21 non medical universities websites and 8 websites of iran medical universities. the websites have been retrieved by the use of searchin and goolge webometic tools and are downloaded on personal computers to analyze their links. The study results show that websites of virtual universities of Tehran with 74970 points, Sistan and Baluchistan with 48048 points and virtual universities of Olum hadis with 43097 points are rated from first to third. Also websites of virtual university of Qom with 28 points has specified the last level to itself. It is suggested that IT professionals, website designers and managers with regard to standards and design criteria as well as the findings of this study and similar studies, use to increase the Webometrics ranking of website and improve vrtual universities websites. |
