چکیده انگلیسی مقاله Introduction:Detergentsleadtomanyenvironmentalproblems.Themainaimofthisstudywastoevaluatesequencingbatchreactor(SBR)efficiencyonLinearalkylbenzenesulfonate(LAS)removal. Methods:Inthisexperimentalstudy,toinvestigatetheremovalefficiencyofLAS,aSBRreactorwasused.Aroughly12-houroperatingcyclewaschosenwhichincludedthedischargetime(30min),thefillingtime(60min),andsedimentation(1hr),whiletheremainingtimewasdevotedtoaerating.Inthisresearch48samplesweretakenandanalized.Samplingandtestingwereperformedaccordingtothestandardmethodsofwaterandwastewaterexamination. Results:TheresultsshowedthatminimumandmaximumremovalefficienciesofLASinSBRreactorwere92%and99.5%,respectively.TheaverageremovalofCODwas92%.Itwasobservedthat1mg/lusedsurfactantsproduced2.3±0.3mgCOD. Conclusion:ItcanbeconcludedthatSBRreactoriscapableofremovingLAStomeetdesirableenvironmentalstandards.
