عنوان فارسی مقاله علمی – ترویجی:‌ ویژگی‌‌های زیست‌‌شناختی ماهی پلاتی (Xiphophorus maculatus) و شیوه پرورش و نگهداری آن در آکواریوم
چکیده فارسی مقاله مطالعه حاضر به‌‌ منظور مرور ویژگی‌‌های زیست‌‌شناختی و شیوه پرورش و نگهداری ماهی پلاتی (Xiphophorus maculatus) به ‌‌عنوان یکی از گونه‌‌های آکواریومی محبوب در سطح جهان انجام گرفت. مرور منابع نشان داد که این گونه، بومی مناطق نیمه‌‌گرمسیری و گرمسیری شامل مکزیک، گواتمالا، بلیز، هندوراس است. ماهی پلاتی از نظر رژیم‌‌ غذایی، همه‌‌چیز‌‌خوار است و از نظر تولیدمثلی نیز اگر چنانچه دمای آب در حالت مطلوب قرار داشته باشد، منجر به تولیدمثل تقریباً متوالی در این گونه می‌‌شود. این گونه به عنوان یک ماهی صلح‌‌جو شناخته می‌‌شود. از این‌‌رو، گزینه بسیار مناسبی برای نگهداری در آکواریوم‌‌های اجتماعی محسوب می‌‌شود. به طور کلی، ماهیان پلاتی از نظر خصوصیات فیزیکوشیمیایی زیستگاه، آب با درجه سختی بالا را ترجیح می‌‌دهند که شبیه زیستگاه طبیعی آنها باشد. محققان بیان داشتند که نگه‌‌داشتن pH آب در محدوده 5/8-8/6 برای زیست این ماهیان بسیار مناسب است. بر طبق گزارش‌‌های به‌‌دست آمده، طول عمر ماهی پلاتی در صورتی‌‌که تحت مراقبت صحیح قرار گیرد، 5-3 سال است. از جمله شایع‌‌ترین بیماری‌‌های ماهی پلاتی در محیط آکواریوم می‌‌توان به پوسیدگی باله، ایک (Ich) و بیماری مخملک اشاره کرد. مجموع این یافته‌‌ها نشان داد که ماهی پلاتی (X. maculatus) به دلیل برخورداری از یک‌سری ویژگی‌‌های خاص مانند اندازه کوچک، رژیم غذایی همه‌‌چیز‌‌خواری، بی‌نیازی به بستر و محیط خاص برای تخم‌‌ریزی و پتانسیل بالایی که در تحمل طیف وسیعی از شرایط محیطی دارد، می‌‌تواند به عنوان یک گزینه ایده‌‌آل و مناسب برای پرورش در آکواریوم‌‌های خانگی مورد توجه قرار گیرد.

عنوان انگلیسی An overview of the biological characteristics of common platy Xiphophorus maculatus (Teleostei: Poeciliidae) and its cultivation and maintenance in the aquarium.
چکیده انگلیسی مقاله The present study was conducted in order to review the biological characteristics and breeding and maintenance methods of common platy (Xiphophorus maculatus) as one of the popular aquarium species in the world. The literature review showed that this species is native to subtropical and tropical regions including Mexico, Guatemala, Belize and Honduras. In terms of diet, common platy is omnivorous, and in terms of reproduction, if the water temperature is optimal, it leads to almost continuous reproduction in this species. X. maculatus is known as a peaceful fish, therefore, it is considered a very suitable option for keeping in social aquariums. In general, in terms of the physico-chemical properties of the habitat, platy fish prefer water with a high degree of hardness, which is similar to their natural habitat. The researchers stated that keeping the pH of the water in the range of 6.8 to 8.5 is very suitable for the life of these fish. According to the reports, the lifespan of common platy is three to five years, if it is properly cared for. Fin rot, Ich and velvet are among the most common diseases of platy fish in the aquarium environment. The overall findings showed that common platy (X. maculatus) due to having a series of special features such as small size, omnivorous diet, no need for a special bed and environment for spawning, as well as its high potential in tolerating a wide range of environmental conditions can be considered as an ideal and suitable option for breeding in home aquariums.
