عنوان انگلیسی Evaluation of the Effect of Different Doses of Vitamin D on the Prevention of Spontaneous Miscarriage and Preterm Labor Pain
چکیده انگلیسی مقاله Background and objective: this study was conducted given the importance of pregnancy and its serious complications on prescribing Vitamin D during pregnancy to prevent pregnancy complications. Method: The research population included the pregnant women referring to Yasuj Shahid Moftteh Clinic in 2017 .In this clinical trial, 150 patients were selected after obtaining their consent and they were randomly divided into 2 groups (each group included 75 patients). One group received Vitamin D 500 units per day (Group 1) and another group received Vitamin D 2000 units per day (Group 2). Both groups were evaluated until the end of pregnancy. Result : In the present study, spontaneous miscarriage was reported in 8 cases in Group 1 and 2 cases in Group 2. Preeclampsia was reported in 3 cases in Group 1, but no preeclampsia was reported in Group 2. The incidence of diabetes was observed in 6 cases in Group 1 and 4 cases in Group 2. The preterm labor rate was similar in both groups and it was seen in 8 cases in both groups. the status of spontaneous miscarriage and preeclampsia and diabetes in Group 2 was better than that of Group 1, but there was no statistically significant difference between the two groups. Disscution : administration of Vitamin D in pregnant women can be valuable and reduce the incidence of many pregnancy complications and neonatal disorders. The minimum dose of Vitamin D needed to decrease the incidence of these complications can be considered 500 units
