عنوان فارسی بررسی عوامل موثر در گرایش دستیاران داخلی و رادیولوژی در انتخاب تخصص: یک بررسی مقطعی
چکیده فارسی مقاله مقدمه‌: تغییر در گرایش دانشجویان پزشکی در انتخاب تخصص، باعث نگرانی‌هایی برای سیاست‌گذاران بخش سلامت گردیده‌است. در سال‌های اخیر، تقاضا برای تخصص رادیولوژی بسیار بالا و برای تخصص داخلی، بسیار کم بوده‌است. مطالعه‌ی حاضر، با هدف بررسی عوامل تاثیرگذار بر انتخاب رشته‌ی دستیاران داخلی و رادیولوژی انجام شد. روش کار‌: مطالعه‌ی توصیفی-مقطعی حاضر، به‌منظور بررسی دلایل انتخاب رشته‌ی تخصصی، روی 112 دستیار داخلی و رادیولوژی در دانشگاه علوم پزشکی جندی‌شاپور اهواز، در سال 1398 به‌انجام رسید. داده‌ها با استفاده از پرسش‌نامه‌ای 16 ماده‌ای جمع‌آوری گردید. روایی و پایایی پرسش‌نامه، بررسی و تایید شد. از روش‌های آمار توصیفی و آزمون من-ویتنی برای تحلیل داده‌ها استفاده شد. یافته‌ها‌: به‌طور‌کلی، سه عامل بالابردن دانش و انجام بهتر درمان، علاقه‌ی شخصی و آینده‌ی مناسب شغلی، به‌ترتیب با میانگین 23/4، 90/3 و 74/3، مهم‌ترین عوامل موثر در انتخاب تخصص بودند. مقایسه‌ی نظرات دستیاران نشان داد که سه عامل راحتی و نداشتن اورژانس (با میانگین 90/3 در مقابل 36/2، 0001/0=P)، موقعیت اجتماعی (میانگین 71/3 در مقابل 98/2، 0001/0=P) و درآمد بالا (میانگین 76/3 در مقابل 97/2، 0001/0=P) به‌طور معنی‌داری در انتخاب رشته‌ی دستیاران رادیولوژی از اهمیت بالاتری برخوردار بودند. درحالی‌که عامل جامعیت رشته و امکان ادامه‌تحصیل (01/4 در مقابل 43/3، 003/0=P) به‌طور معنی‌داری در انتخاب رشته‌ی دستیاران داخلی اهمیت بالاتری داشت. نتیجه‌گیری‌: یافته‌های مطالعه‌ی حاضر نشان داد که راحتی و نداشتن اورژانس، موقعیت اجتماعی و درآمد بالا، از عوامل موثر در گرایش دانشجویان پزشکی به تخصص رادیولوژی می‌باشند. شناسایی و تعیین عوامل موثر در گرایش دانشجویان پزشکی به انتخاب تخصص‌های رادیولوژی و داخلی، اطلاعات مهمی برای سیاست‌گذاران سیستم سلامت فراهم می‌آورد.

عنوان انگلیسی Investigating Factors Affecting Specialty Choices in Internal Medicine and Radiology Residents: A Cross-sectional Study
چکیده انگلیسی مقاله Introduction: Changing the tendency of medical students in specialty choice has been an alarm for policymakers in health services. In recent years, the demand has been very high for radiology and very low for internal medicine. This study aimed to identify the factors influencing radiology and internal medicine residents to choose their future specialty. Methods: In a cross-sectional study, the reasons for choosing the radiology and internal medicine specialties were investigated in Ahvaz Jundishapur University of Medical Sciences in 2018. Data were collected using a questionnaire consisting of 16 questions. The validity and reliability of the questionnaire were evaluated and confirmed. Descriptive statistics and the Mann-Whitney test were used to analyze the data. Results: Overall, the most important factors influencing the specialty choice were as follows: "Raising the knowledge and improving the treatment", "personal interest", and "good job position in the future" with average scores of 4.23, 3.90, and 3.74, respectively. The comparison of residents' opinions showed that the convenience and lack of emergency (with a mean of 3.90 vs. 2.36, p = 0.0001), social prestige (3.71 vs. 2.98, p = 0.0001), and high income (3.76 vs. 2.97, p = 0.0001) were more significantly important factors in choosing the radiology specialty. The discipline comprehensiveness factor and the possibility of continuing education (4.01 vs. 3.43, p = 0.003) were more significantly important factors in the selection of the internal medicine specialty. Conclusion: Many factors appeared to inspire physicians to choose a future specialty. By identifying these factors and justifying medical students in the selection of specialty, administrators can steer medical students toward certain specialties to meet the workforce demand.   Please cite this article as follows: Shakurnia A, Seyedian SS.
