عنوان فارسی اپیدمیولوژی لیشمانیوز جلدی در شهرستان دامغان
چکیده فارسی مقاله اهداف: لیشمانیوز جلدی یکی از مهم‌ترین بیماری­‌های منتقله به‌­وسیله پشه خاکی است که از مهم ­ ترین معضلات بهداشتی در ایران است. داشتن اطلاعات از وضعیت بیماری کمک شایانی به برنامه کنترل خواهد نمود. مطالعه حاضر به‌­منظور توصیف وضعیت لیشمانیوز جلدی در شهرستان دامغان انجام گرفت. روش­‌ها: این مطالعه توصیفی- تحلیلی روی 465 بیمار مبتلا به سالک که از سال 1385 تا سال 1388 در مراکز بهداشتی- درمانی شهرستان دامغان تحت درمان و پیگیری قرار گرفتند انجام شد. اطلاعات مربوط به بیماران از قبیل سن، جنس، ملیت، محل سکونت، تعداد و محل زخم، ماه و سال بروز بیماری ثبت شد. داده‌­ها با آزمون مجذور کای در نرم­‌افزار SPSS 12 مورد تجزیه و تحلیل قرار گرفت. یافته‌­ها: از 465 بیمار مورد مطالعه 263نفر مرد (5/56%) و 202نفر زن (5/43%) بودند. 148نفر (8/31%) در شهر و 317نفر (2/68%) در مناطق روستایی سکونت داشتند. بیشترین فراوانی در گروه سنی 29-20 سال (22%) بود. بیشترین ضایعات (84%) در اندام‌­ها مشاهده شد و 46% بیماران حداقل دو زخم در بدنشان داشتند. بالاترین میزان شیوع در ماه‌های مهر، آبان و آذر مشاهده شد. نتیجه‌­گیری: لیشمانیوز جلدی در روستاهای مناطق کویری به‌­صورت بومی وجود دارد و در محله­های حاشیه شهر دامغان در حال گسترش است. بنابراین برنامه­‌ریزی جامع به­‌منظور کنترل بیماری ضروری است.

عنوان انگلیسی Epidemiology of cutaneous leishmaniasis in Damghan district
چکیده انگلیسی مقاله Aims: Cutaneous leishmaniasis is one of the most important diseases transmitted by sand fly and has been one of the most important health problems in Iran. Determining the epidemiological aspects of disease is important for planning of control program. This study was carried out to describe the cutaneous leishmaniases situation in Damghan district. Methods: This descriptive-analytical survey was performed on all confirmed and recorded cutaneous leishmaniasis cases (465 people) diagnosed during 2006-09 in Damghan district . Patients’ information such as age, sex, nationality, habitat, number and sites of ulcer(s), month and years of incidence were registered and analyzed by Chi-square test using SPSS 12 software. Results: Of 465 under care patients, 263 cases (56.5%) were men and 202 people (43.5%) were women.148 patients (31.8%) resided in urban areas, while 317 (68.2%) lived in rural areas. The most frequent age group was 20-29 years old (22%). Hands and feet were the most common sites of ulcer (84%). 46% of the patients had two or more ulcers. Highest disease prevalence (84.8%) was observed in months October, December and November. Conclusion: Cutaneous leishmaniasis is an endemic disease in desert rural areas and is developing in suburban parts of Damghan therefore, comprehensive planning for control and prevention of the disease is necessary.
