عنوان فارسی بررسی تنوع زبان-منظور شناختی و منظور- جامعه شناختی در تولید کنش‌های گفتاری فراگیران زبان دوم و انگلیسی زبانان
چکیده فارسی مقاله جنبه‌های زبان- منظور شناختی و منظور- جامعه شناختی کارکرد زبان در موقعیت‌ها، زبان‌ها و فرهنگ‌های گوناگون متنوع هستند. جداسازی این دو جنبه‌ی کارکرد زبانی به بررسی هنجارها و آداب اجتماعی- فرهنگی و همچنین اشکال و راهکارهای زبانشناسی که اساس عملکرد منظورشناسی گویندگان در شرایط مختلف کارکرد زبانی هستند کمک می‌کند. این مطالعه به بررسی تنوع زبان- منظور شناختی و منظور- جامعه شناختی در بیان کنش‌های گفتاری عذرخواهی، درخواست و امتناع در میان بومیان آمریکایی و زبان‌آموزان ایرانی می‌پردازد. 100 دانشجوی ایرانی در مقاطع کارشناسی و کارشناسی ارشد و 50 آمریکایی در این پژوهش شرکت کردند. یک آزمون نوشتاری تکمیل گفتمان (WDCT) از طریق شیوه‌ی الگوسازی کاربر-محور طراحی شد و به منظور جمع‌آوری اطلاعات مورد استفاده قرار گرفت. نتایج حاصل نشان داد که تنوع چشمگیری در به کارگیری قالب‌های معنایی، مفاهیم زبان-منظور شناختی و منظور- جامعه شناختی توسط گروه‌های شرکت کننده در زمان تولید کنش‌های گفتاری و متاثر از متغیرهای بافتاری و تفاوت‌های شخصی آنها وجود دارد. گویندگان آمریکایی از راهکارهای فرمولی زبان-منظورشناختی بیشتری استفاده کرده‌اند و نسبت به زبان‌آموزان ایران صریح‌تر بودند. همچنین تنوع قابل توجه‌ای در انتخاب شرکت‌کنندگان از فرمول‌های منظور- جامعه شناختی مناسب به منظور ملایم نمودن کنش‌های گفتاری و اجتناب از رنجش مخاطب خود وجود داشت. یافته‌های این مطالعه نشان داد که پیوستگی پیچیده‌ای بین ارزش‌های منظور- جامعه شناختی و شکل‌های متنوع و یا راهکارهایی که کاربران زبان در سطح زبان-منظورشناختی کارکرد زبانی به کار می‌گیرند وجود دارد. سرانجام پیشنهاد می‌شود که تنوع منظورشناسی از جنبه‌ی زبان- منظور شناختی و منظور- جامعه شناختی کارکرد زبانی در شرایط واقعی (یا شبه واقعی) مورد پژوهش قرار بگیرد.

عنوان انگلیسی Exploring Pragmalinguistic and Sociopragmatic Variability in Speech Act Production of L2 Learners and Native Speakers
چکیده انگلیسی مقاله The pragmalinguistic and sociopragmatic aspects of language use vary across different situations, languages, and cultures. The separation of these two facets of language use can help to map out the socio-cultural norms and conventions as well as the linguistic forms and strategies that underlie the pragmatic performance of different language speakers in a variety of target language use situations. This study explored the sociopragmatic and pragmalinguistic variations in the expression and realization of three speech acts of apology, request, and refusal by American native speakers and Iranian EFL learners. The participants were 100 graduate and undergraduate Iranian students and 50 American native speakers. A written discourse completion test (WDCT) was developed through a bottom-up procedure and used for collecting the data. The results showed that considerable variations emerged in the semantic formulae, sociopragmatic content, and pragmalinguistic forms the participants employed in realizing the speech acts in relation to the contextual variables and individual differences. The American participants employed more (pragmalinguistic) formulaic strategies and were generally more direct than the Iranian L2 learners. Further variability was also noticeable in the participants’ choice of sociopragmatic appropriacy formulae in order to mitigate their speech acts and avoid offending their interlocutors. The findings indicated that there is an intricate reciprocity between the sociopragmatic values and the variant forms or strategies that language users employ on the pragmalinguistic level of language use. It is then suggested that pragmatic variation be traced and probed on the two pragmalinguistic and sociopragmatic planes of language use in real-life (or simulated) contexts.
