عنوان فارسی بررسی میزان آگاهی دانشجویان دندانپزشکی یزد از مراحل لابراتواری پخت پروتز کامل در سال ۱۴۰۰
چکیده فارسی مقاله
مقدمه: بی‌دندانی مشکل شایع سنین بالا می‌باشد. برای رفع این مشکل یکی از درمان‌های رایج، پروتز کامل است که دندانپزشک باید بر تمامی مراحل لابراتواری ساخت پروتز تسلط کامل داشته باشد. مطالعه حاضر با هدف تعیین میزان آگاهی دانشجویان دندانپزشکی دانشگاه علوم پزشکی شهید صدوقی یزد از مراحل لابراتواری پخت پروتز کامل در سال 1400 انجام گرفت.
روش بررسی: در این مطالعه توصیفی- مقطعی، میزان آگاهی دانشجویان دندانپزشکی، در زمینه مراحل لابراتواری پخت پروتز کامل با استفاده از پرسش‌نامه‌ای روا و پایا شامل: اطلاعات پایه (جنسیت، سهمیه ورودی، ترم تحصیلی و معدل)، 29 سوال سنجش آگاهی و یک سوال در خصوص نظر دانشجویان در مورد کارآیی محتوای کوریکولوم آموزشی ارزیابی شد. سپس داده‌های گردآوری شده در نرم‌افزار آماری  SPSS version 16 وارد و با استفاده آزمون‌های t-test و One-way ANOVA تجزیه و تحلیل شدند.
نتایج: در این مطالعه 143 دانشجو (42% مرد و 58% زن ) شرکت نمودند. میانگین نمره آگاهی دانشجویان از مراحل لابراتواری پخت پروتز کامل 2/79±12/99 از 29 نمره (44/8%) بود. تفاوت آماری معنی‌داری بین میانگین نمره آگاهی دانشجویان بر حسب سمهیه ورودی مشاهده شد (0/022 =P)، اما این تفاوت بر حسب جنسیت (0/524=P)، ترم تحصیلی (0/306 =P) و معدل (0/254=P) معنی‌دار نبود.
نتیجه‌گیری: میزان آگاهی دانشجویان دندانپزشکی از مرحله لابراتواری پخت پروتز کامل کمتر از حد متوسط بود. میزان آگاهی و سهمیه ورودی ارتباط معنی‌داری نشان دادند اما ارتباط معنی‌دار بین میزان آگاهی با جنسیت، ترم تحصیلی و معدل دانشجویان به‌دست نیامد.

عنوان انگلیسی Assessment of Knowledge among Yazd Undergraduate Dental Students regarding the Laboratory Stages of Processing Complete Dentures in 2021

Introduction: Edentulism is a prevalent problem among the elderly. One of the common treatments for this issue is the use of complete dentures. The dentist must have complete mastery over all the laboratory steps of denture processing. The present study aimed to determine the level of knowledge among Yazd undergraduate dental students regarding the laboratory stages of processing complete dentures in 2021.
Methods: This cross-sectional and descriptive study evaluated, dental students’ understanding of the laboratory stages involved in processing complete dentures using a valid and reliable questionnaire including: basic information (gender, entry quota, academic semester, and grade point average), 29 questions to assess knowledge, and one question regarding students' opinions about the effectiveness of the educational curriculum content. Subsequently, the collected data were entered into SPSS 16 statistical software and analyzed using the t-test and One-way ANOVA test.
Results: A total of 143 students (42% male and 58% female) participated in this study. The average score of students' knowledge was 12.99±2.79 out of a total of 29 scores (44.8%). A statistically significant difference was observed in the average score of students' knowledge according to the entry quota (P = 0.022), while no significant difference was noted according to gender (P = 0.524), academic semester (P = 0.306), and grade point average (P = 0.254).
Conclusion: Dental students' knowledge of laboratory stages involved in processing complete dentures was considered below average. A significant association was identified between knowledge level and entry quota, yet no notable correlation was observed between knowledge and gender, academic semester, or grade point average.
