Abstract  Health donors can play an important role in strengthening Iran’s health system. Donors contributions are not limited to hospitals, and non-governmental organizations can play an important role in diseases prevention. Considering that the Sabzevar City Health Charity Association has taken steps to empower community in order to improve population health by carrying out campaigns in addition to the traditional roles of charities, this letter to the editor introduces the campaigns of “Health Visit”. These campaigns were carried out between December 2022 and January 2023 under the titles of Vitamin D, Leishmaniasis, Brucellosis, and Pediculosis campaigns with the participation of the Health Charity Association and Sabzevar University of Medical Sciences. After implementing campaigns to continue with the approach of empowering the community in health promotion in the form of a targeted and organized structure, the Sabzevar Health Promotion Culture Development Institute was launched with the possibility of utilizing the capacity of other organizations involved in health in the city of Sabzevar. Other charity organizations can benefit from the experiences of the Sabzevar City Health Visit campaigns in other regions of the country and be a source of positive effects in improving community health.
