چکیده انگلیسی مقاله Supplication (du`a) enjoys a sublime status in the religious culture. Among the narrated supplications, Maka rim al-Akhla q includes lofty mystical themes. In the present article, the writer briefly examines major concepts of this supplication including the relation between supplication and faith, hope, Divine guidance, rendering service to people, and trust in God. She further points out that making supplications never means cutting off from society and living in seclusion; rather, benevolence to people is in itself a kind of prayer and supplication.
