Extended Abstract 1.Introduction The family is one of the main pillars of society and achieving a healthy society is clearly dependent on the health of the family and the realization of a healthy family is conditional on the enjoyment of its members, especially couples, to have a favorable relationship with each other (1). Undoubtedly, identifying the factors affecting the foundation of the family, such as marital boredom, failure, etc., and examining strategies to prevent and eliminate them is of undeniable importance. Among the various causes of marital boredom is the painful state of physical, emotional, and psychological exhaustion, and it affects those who expect their abundant love to give meaning and meaning to life and its quality. These people realize that they have experienced marital boredom when, despite all their efforts, their relationships have not given them a meaningful life (2). Failure is another factor that can shake the foundation of the family as the most important element of society. Failure is one of the most important human traits that is related to tolerating failure and refers to the amount of stress that a person can endure before his behavior becomes integrated and disrupted (4). According to the above, prevention and elimination of destructive factors in the family is very important. In this regard, one of the ways to prevent and eliminate destructive factors in the family is couple therapy methods, including cognitive-behavioral couple therapy and imagotherapy. . Cognitive-behavioral couple therapy uses cognitive and behavioral strategies and life skills training to try to expose the obvious behavior and interaction of couples by changing their thoughts, expectations, interpretations and ways of responding to them. Change (6). Given the above, there is no doubt that identifying the factors affecting the foundation of the family, such as marital boredom, failure, etc., and examining strategies to prevent and eliminate them, including various methods of couple therapy, is of undeniable importance. The purpose is to preserve the sacred foundation of the family in Iran. Therefore, the researcher seeks to answer the question whether there is a difference between the effectiveness of imagotherapy and cognitive and behavioral couple therapy on marital boredom and failure tolerance in couples or not? 2.Method For the present quasi-experimental and applied research, which was done as a pre-test-post-test with the control group, 30 couples were selected from among the couples referring to the family court, dispute resolution councils and counseling centers in Mashhad in 1399, and They were randomly divided into three groups: cognitive-behavioral couple therapy, imagotherapy and control. Then, the sample individuals completed the demographic information questionnaire, Paynes Marital Boredom Questionnaire (2004) and Failure Tolerance Questionnaire (Harrington, 2005) in the pre-test. They received the following tables and at the end all three groups completed the questionnaires again. Inclusion criteria also included 3 to 10 years of marriage, having at least a diploma, having an age of 30 to 45 years and no history of divorce, and exclusion criteria included missing more than one session and canceling further cooperation. Finally, descriptive statistics, Shapirovilk tests, multivariate analysis of covariance and Bonferroni post hoc using SPSS software were used for statistical analysis of data. 3.Results The results showed that the mean of marital boredom (CB) and failure tolerance (FT) variables after immatotherapy couple therapy was better than cognitive-behavioral couple therapy (Table 3). The results showed that the statistical significance of Wilkes's lambda test was less than 0.05 and was therefore significant. Therefore, it can be found that there is a significant difference between the groups of cognitive-behavioral couple therapy, imagotherapy and control in at least one of the variables of marital boredom and failure tolerance (Table 4). On the other hand, it was found that there is a statistically significant difference between the three intervention variables in the three variables of marital boredom (CB) and failure tolerance (FT) (Table 5). The results of post hoc test showed that both cognitive-behavioral couple therapy and immagotherapy compared to the control group significantly reduced marital boredom and increased failure tolerance in couples with marital conflicts. Also, imagotherapy couple therapy method compared to cognitive-behavioral couple therapy method was more effective in reducing marital boredom and increasing failure tolerance in couples (Table 6). 4.Discussion Statistics show that in Iran, for every one out of every three marriages, one divorce occurs. Therefore, identifying the factors affecting the foundation of the family, such as marital boredom, failure, etc., and examining strategies to prevent and eliminate them, including various methods of couple therapy, the undeniable importance of maintaining the sacred foundation of the family. It is enjoyed in Iran. Therefore, in this study, the effectiveness of imagotherapy and cognitive-behavioral couple therapy on marital boredom and failure tolerance in couples was compared. The results showed that cognitive-behavioral couple therapy method significantly reduces marital boredom and significantly increases failure tolerance in couples with marital conflicts. Imagotherapy couple therapy method significantly reduces marital boredom and significantly increases failure tolerance in couples with marital conflicts. Imagotherapy couple therapy is more effective than cognitive-behavioral couple therapy to reduce marital boredom and increase failure tolerance in couples with marital conflicts. The findings of the present study are consistent with some of the results of De Klerk (2001) research that receiving immunotherapy has been able to increase couples' satisfaction and satisfaction (19). Also, the results of the present study are part of the findings of the study of Saples et al. (2010) who found that cognitive-behavioral couple therapy improves marital satisfaction of couples, reduces the symptoms of psychological distress and boredom of the husband and increases the overall functioning of the relationship. Confirms (20). In addition, the findings of the present study, with some of the results of the research of Martin and Bailowski (2011) who found that Imago-based couple therapy method, increased conversations between spouses, increased self-understanding and understanding of spouses, understanding of Increased childhood and spouses, as well as increased self-confidence (21), is consistent. |
