عنوان فارسی تأملی بر حمایت از زنان در برابر خشونت در پرتو پروتکل منشور افریقایی حقوق بشر و خلق‌ها راجع به حقوق زنان در افریقا
چکیده فارسی مقاله پروتکل منشور افریقایی حقوق بشر و خلق­ها در خصوص حقوق زنان در افریقا (پروتکل حقوق زنان یا پروتکل ماپوتو) از خلال ارائه­ی تعریفی فراگیر از خشونت علیه زنان و برشماریِ مصادیقِ مختلف آن، مقرر داشتن محو کلیه­ی اَشکال تبعیض علیه زنان، توجه داشتن و ممنوع­سازیِ آداب و رسومِ سنتیِ آسیب­زا علیه ایشان، مطمح نظر قرار دادنِ نقش آموزش و مدارس در حذف نگرش­های تبعیض­آمیز علیه بانوان، حمایت از زنان در خلال مخاصمات مسلحانه و پشتیبانی از زنان سالمند و تنگدست در برابر تمامی اقسام خشونت و تأکید بر جرم­انگاری انواع متفاوت خشونت علیه زنان و مجازات مرتکبین آن توسط دولت­های عضو و انتظام­بخشی به قوانین ملی، در صدد پیشگیری و مبارزه با خشونت علیه زنان بر آمده است. پروتکل حقوق زنان، در صورت اجرای کامل و گنجانده شدن در قانونگذاری ملی، ابزار کارآمد و مستحکمی را برای حمایت از زنان افریقایی در برابر اشکال گوناگونِ خشونت به دست می­دهد.  نوشتار حاضر بر آن است تا از رهگذر رهیافتی توصیفی-تحلیلی و با گردآوری منابع به صورت کتابخانه­ای، به این پرسش پاسخ دهد که این سند از زمان تصویب خود تاکنون چه نقشی در مبارزه با خشونت علیه زنان در افریقا داشته است.

عنوان انگلیسی Investigating the Protection of Women against Violence in the Light of Protocol to the African Charter of Human and Peoples' Rights on the Rights of Women in Africa
چکیده انگلیسی مقاله Protocol to the African Charter of Human and Peoples' Rights on the Rights of Women in Africa (Women's Rights Protocol or Maputo Protocol), through presenting a pervasive definition of violence against women (VAW) and enumerating its distinctive manifestations, stipulating the elimination of all forms of discrimination against women, addressing and prohibiting harmful traditional practices against women, considering the role of education and schools in the eradication of discriminative attitudes against women, protecting women during armed conflicts and supporting elderly and distressed women against all forms of violence and discrimination, emphasizing the criminalization of different types of VAW and punishment of perpetrators by State Parties, and regulating national legislations seeks to prevent and combat VAW in Africa. If fully implemented and integrated into national legislation, the African Women's Protocol offers an effective and strong tool to protect African women against distinguished forms of VAW. The present paper, through a descriptive-analytic approach and by means of a library-based method, aims to answer this question that what has been the role of the Protocol in combating violence against women in African countries.
